The art centre was registered under the law of Nepal in the birth place of Buddha, country of the Mt Everest with the aim of produce and export high qualities thangkas by well experienced artist of thangka. We have managed to produce and export it with easy way for many different countries according to the demand of customers and we also provide tha teaching facility on thangka painting.

The head thangka artist Gyalze Sherpa’s brief introduction
Mr. Gyalze Sherpa was born in 1968 at Sherpa family in Solukhumbu, Nepal. He had studied Nyingmapa Buddhism at Takshintok Monastery since 1980-1989. He has earned the experience of thangka painting as working for 18 years in the related field. Mr Sherpa studied thangka with thangka teacher Ven. Sherpa Thuptan Lama and Gurmi Lama in Sherpa Art Centre since 1990-1997.

He has achieved many appreciation letters from many world famous Lamas H.H. Penor Rinpoche, H.H. Khenchen Rikzin Dorje Rinpoche and Khenchen Sangye Rangjung Rinpoche in order to his works to paints many Monasteries large in size. He has reached Chile, South America to paint the Buddhist art in 2006.
